Who we are
Rebook my stay is run by Sharpsight Solutions. You can reach us at hello@rebookmystay.com. We decide how your details are used, which makes us the "data controller" under UK data protection law.
What we collect
When you tell us about a booking, we collect:
- your email address
- the hotel and city
- your check-in and check-out dates
- the number of adults, and children's ages if you give them
- what you paid and in which currency, and whether that includes taxes and breakfast
- your free-cancellation deadline and where you booked
- the room type, if you tell us
We don't ask for your name, confirmation number, PIN or payment details. Please don't include them.
Why we use it
To watch prices for your stay and email you when we find a cheaper rate. We do this because you asked us to. We don't use your details for anything else, we don't sell them and we don't use them for advertising.
Who else sees it
- Our service providers. Companies that host our systems, store our data and send our emails. They act on our instructions.
- Price and location data providers. To look up prices we share the hotel name, city, dates and number of guests. We don't share your email address or anything else about you.
- Booking sites and link partners. If you follow a link in one of our emails, you'll be taken to a booking site, sometimes through a link-management partner. They may record your visit and set cookies, under their own privacy policies. Our links carry a random reference, not your email address.
- Others, where the law requires it.
Some of these providers are based outside the UK. Where they are, we rely on recognised safeguards for international transfers.
How long we keep it
We keep your details while we watch your booking. You can stop at any time using the link in our emails, and ask us to delete your details there or by emailing us.
Keeping it safe
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your details.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or object to how we use them, by emailing hello@rebookmystay.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Cookies
This site doesn't use analytics or advertising cookies. Booking sites and link partners have their own policies.
